In the area of ​​the municipality there are also 5 craft markets, of which the best known is the Mercadillo de la Villa de Teguise, open every Sunday from 10 to 14. Fresh products of the island, traditional or modern crafts, as well as curious artistic creations are some of the objects you can find here.

The most beautiful beaches that can be reached in a short time are Playa de Famara (a majestic 6km beach that transmits peace and is a paradise for everyone) and the beaches of Costa Teguise. The best known is Las Cucharas beach, with golden sand and equipped with sun umbrella and lounges. The 400 meters of golden sand mixed with pebbles of Playa Bastián make it the second largest beach in the city and together with El Jablillo it is another of the beaches to consider. Los Charcos is the smallest one, just 150 meters wide. It is made up of white sand and is not known to most people. Also noteworthy is the beach of El Ancla, very small but welcoming, quite popular with the island’s residents.
